Image-Line FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle
FL Studio 21 doesnāt really need an introduction. Image-Line kindly offers the FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle as the prize, an all-in-one music production suite packed with virtual instruments, effects, and lifetime free updates.
There are simply too many features to cover in a couple of paragraphs. Still, some of my favorite FL Studio 21 assets are the Slicex sample editor, the Newtime time manipulation tool, and the incredibly versatile Gross Beat multi-effect.
You also get FL Studioās new AI-powered stem separation functionality, one of the best step sequencers on the market, and an entire suite of FL Studio effects for mixing and mastering.
The latest FL Studio 21 version introduced several new effects, including the LuxeVerb reverb plugin and the Vintage Phaser effect.
On a related note, Image-Line recently launched the Year-End Sale with a sitewide 25% OFF discount on all products and bundles.
Ujam Usynth Bundle
The Usynth Bundle is a versatile collection of virtual instruments, covering everything from chiptune sounds to vintage analog synths and beyond.
Ujam is famous for its performance-oriented take on virtual instruments and effects. The company specializes in creating intuitive and playable plugins that sound absolutely incredible out of the box.
The Usynth Bundle is no exception, packing seven virtual instruments with over 700 presets for genres like pop, electronic music, ambient synthwave, and more.
If you like instruments that donāt require a lot of tweaking to sound good, the Ujam Usynth lineup is the perfect pick. Ujam kindly provided three Usynth Bundle licenses for three lucky BPB readers.
Ujam is also running a sale on various plugin collections, including an epic 87% OFF deal on the LoFi Bundle.
Cableguys ShaperBox + ReverbShaper
One lucky winner will get the Cableguys ShaperBox bundle, and two winners will get the ReverbShaper plugin.
ShaperBox is the flagship modulation powerhouse from Cableguys. It combines ten versatile effects into one interface with insane modulation features.
The modulation capabilities are seemingly endless with ShaperBox. You get drawable LFO waveforms, envelope followers, and a 3-band multiband for each effect, letting you create dynamic rhythmic effects, solve complex mix problems, and enhance your music creatively.
ReverbShaper is a standalone reverb plugin with Cableguysā signature modulation capabilities. You can add movement to almost every reverb parameter using highly customizable LFOs and custom waveforms.
Cableguys also announced the Winter Sale is also now on!
The ShaperBox 3 Bundle, which contains the new ReverbShaper and nine additional effects worth $340, is only $89 during the sale.
Techivation M-Compressor
Techivation offers the M-Compressor ($149) plugin to one lucky BPB reader.
M-Compressor is a sophisticated spectral audio compressor that offers downward and upward compression, targeting individual frequencies rather than the overall signal level.
This approach allows for distortion-free dynamic processing, with dynamic thresholds that balance compression across the spectrum, enhancing ambiance and achieving more aggressive compression effects if needed.
Techivation also launched the Holiday Sale, with a 70% discount on the Full Bundle and 40% off select individual plugins.
Polyverse Supermodal
Polyverse offers one lucky winner a Supermodal ($99 value) filter plugin license.
Supermodal is a versatile filter-based multi-effect plugin for electronic music producers and sound designers.
It features a twin-filter engine with a standard state-variable filter that morphs between high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass modes. The standout feature is the unique āmodalā filter that filters audio through resonances, mimicking various struck or vibrated objects.
Supermodal also boasts an advanced modulation system, occupying the lower half of the GUI, where every parameter of both filter engines can be automated or modulated.
The robust modulation engine offers four modulation slots, six modulation sources (including ADSR, Sequencer, and Random), and stereo operation possibilities, allowing dynamic sound shaping.
Polyverse also launched the Winter Sale with up to 30% discounts on individual plugins and bundles. Supermodal is on sale for $69, and the all-in-one bundle is currently $349, down from $544.
Karanyi Sounds Cloudmax and Midnite
Karanyi Sounds offers the Cloudmax reverb plugin and Midnite hybrid guitar instrument to two lucky winners (one prize per winner).
Midnite is a versatile virtual instrument featuring a 5-module multi-layer engine, analog-modeled effects, and a randomizer. It was designed to create rich atmospheres, leads, and complex pulses, making it perfect for electronic music and cinematic sound design.
Cloudmax is a unique reverb-based āTexture Resonatorā audio plugin. It combines a dual granular engine, reverb, tape emulation, filter, and EQ into one unit, offering over 110 presets and smart randomization features.
Karanyi Sounds also launched the December Deals sale with up to 86% off in discounts on plugins and bundles. You can also get Vapor Dimension and Technocolor for free if you purchase Midnite.
AudioThing Reels
AudioThing offers the Reels plugin to one lucky BPB reader.
Reels emulates a distressed Japanese quarter-inch reel-to-reel tape recorder, offering a unique, grungy distortion and signal-mangling processor rather than a typical tape simulation.
AudioThingās tape saturator is a unique tape emulation plugin offering more than just the traditional tape sound, with features like tape delay, stop simulation, and other creative effects.
Reels is one of my go-to tape plugins because I love its ability to subtly color music and bring cohesiveness to tracks. It also includes different tape types and saturation adjustment controls, so itās easy to customize the tape saturation to fit your project perfectly.
Read more in our AudioThing Reels review.
A Sound Effect Packs
A Sound Effect offers two custom packs sourced from Slava Pogorelskyās Complete Bundle.
The first pack delivers 30+ premium electromagnetic sound effects, perfect for creative sound design and experiments.
The second pack brings the winner a number of glass sound effects, from crunching, scratching, and scraping to tonal textures, glass movement sounds, and more.
A Sound Effect is currently running a sale with up to 92% off sound libraries, plugins, and virtual instruments.
Flame Sound Firestarter SFX
Lastly, I offer the Firestarter SFX trailer sound library by Flame Sound (my sound design label) to six lucky winners!
Itās a collection of cinematic sound effects like impacts, braams, tension, builders, booms, and more. You can use it for cinematic projects, but it also works for layering and adding tension to electronic music.
Youāll get 250 royalty-free sounds in 24-bit WAV quality. The Complete edition also includes cool bonuses like the Heatwave soundscape collection and royalty-free field recordings.
Check out the trailer below to hear some of the included sounds.

onI currently have 5 unfinished songs for my first EP. Step 1 is to step into the studio every day. Step 2 is to finish the lyrics for 4 of these songs. This requires some inspiration seeking ques to help me get the right lyrics for these songs. Step 2 is to finish recording the vocals and instruments using analog equipment. Step 3 is to adjust my mix templates for each song to accommodate the special tools and instruments needed to make them unique. Step 4 is to mix and master the songs. New tools are always appreciated.

onStop throwing things away mid-way!
This year I promised myself I would make all efforts to finish songs completely, start to finish, even if I am already sick of them xD
This way I hope that by 2025 I will have at least 2 song I am proud of!

onWhat steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?
To finish more songs in 2024, I will keep a stricter schedule. Install all those plugins that have been floating on my hard drive but missing in my DAW. And complete songs structurally before going back to refine them TOO MUCH (you know what I mean!). Completion before perfection.
Merry Xmas and Happy 2024 BPB Community!

onI am going to stick to Less Is More principle, having too many plugins is a huge disadvantage, too options to choose from. From now on, I am going to focus mainly on finishing tracks that are fresh and original.

Lesego Sehume
onRelease more if the music I made in 2023.

onThe steps I would take is not to criticise my self to heavily, to work on a song you need a basis not a super polished breakt that takes four hours to clean up,

onHonestly, I think I will try to compare myself less with others, and stop imagining a critical audience that is way cooler than me. The amount of tracks I have which never see the light of day because at the last minute I think some imaginary king of queen of cool will laugh at them is now at least 2 albums worth. I know people say you should just make music for yourself but even that is a discipline in itsels. So maybe I will concentrate on the discipline of making music Ā“by and for myself, and not sweating the phantoms of my artistic, or aesthetic, insecurity.
Wayne Hanley
onTaking more time and not getting distracted by other things.
Chris Stoochnoff
onI will not worry too much about releasing more songs, and aim for quality, as I have always tried to. But for the ones I get stuck on, Iāll just move on to something else and come back to the ones Iām stuck on later.
I will try and find some new ways of being creative too, and work outside of my usual comfort zone with making music.. not doing things the same way each time.. perhaps start focusing on different elements in a song that I normally wouldnāt.
Alumiel
onIām gonna strict myself to focus more on less. Iām going to do more one synth only stuff and therefore my goal next year is to finally give into the almighty FM synthesis after being overlooking it for so many years!

Rudy Garcia
onWhat steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?
Commitment, and exercise faith. I need to commit in learn more theory, and notes. To study my recordings, and to practice fingering techniques as well as mixing and editing. I need to believe in potential and stay focused on my progress. As a believer I pray for God to bless my efforts. Life is short, and unpredictable so I must continue to work at goal, be flexible, and honest. Donāt give up and donāt be shy in asking for help.

Merry Christmas to all!
Dave C

Jorge Sebastian Alvarez Herrera
onuse less social media and do more music :D
TUFA
onLess focus on perfection and more focus on releasing songs with the vibe and attitude matching my project. Itās more at bats that create the real growth, not having the perfect swing once or twice, so my plan is to just release more music off the cuff and get my audiences feedback to curate and refine the sound. Cheers.

onStop watching box sets on TV, get Ableton 12 and simplify my setup
Red
onI spend too much time browsing presets and looking at what new stuff is available.
My plan is to start using a simple piano and focus on composition and melodies.
Iāll worry about interesting sounds after I manage to make something that sounds great, not based on sound design, but on musicality.

onAloha!
I need to handle the āToo many small ideasā situation and I need to set the focus to the big picture instead. And finally I need to understand that songs definitely donāt want to be perfect they want to be finished and listenable instead.
Mr Wayne
onNo more unfinished beats, I will finish all.
Matt Thurgood
onIām going to take the Brain Eno approach of knocking out thousands of unfinished musical āsketchesā, then coming back to them later and seeing if there are any that could be developed or even cross-pollinated. The main thing, for me, is to keep the ideas flowing and to preserve everything, rather than passing judgement and deleting tracks that ādonāt workā. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
Andy
onI will work on my recording skills so the tracks Iām using will be easier to mix.
Michael
onIām hoping to write more music this year. Iāve learned so much about mixing this year and I want to apply that to songs worth recording.

onI started dividing my days to focus exclusively on one thing at the time. I take the evenings to do prep work, learning new softwares or synths, do sound design and organising my library. WinTP

onItās hard to say whether there will be more or not. It is important that our songs are well made and carry a good message for the listener. This requires a modern approach, as well as new technologies for processing tracks in a DAW. And if I manage to win something, it will save my time in many ways. And for a musician, working with an idea is very important. Good luck to all.
Ulf Svensson
onStart my song ideas on my old analog porta studio and only move on to the computer when i have 100 good songs.

abhijeet
onHave more willpower
Kyle Pelligrino-Hartman
onBiggest step Iām taking to produce more music is actually about simplifying and streamlining my studio. Iāve found that at times in ā23 I was most productive when working within narrower constraints, and in some ways limiting my āoptionsā yields more with no difference in mix quality.

Mark Lee Wilkins
onJust keep keeping on and complete the demos that I started three years ago. Not sure that I can top this year though where I finished 24 songs. Itās easier to get stuff done getting in the chair and doing a little bit a day than pulling some sort of marathon once or twice a week., so Iāll just stick with what is working. lol

onFollow my instincts more, commit to production & mix decisions, and be more disciplined about using reference tracks to get a good balance (and know where to break the rules with intention). Decide which tracks will end up on an album, and which 1-2 will come out as singles first. Set a deadline to release the first one, and hopefully feel some momentum and energy to keep going once Iāve put the first one out there.

onI have already bought an electric guitar and audio interface, just on the end of the year ā I canāt let this investment go on waste, right?
I want also to make some cleaning in my plugins and decide what to keep and what to install, to have at least a bit of free space on the disk. Also, getting much inspiration from the world around and trying to get involved into a projects, where music can be a part of it ā it makes easier to finish the project when you know it will be used in something bigger, so it gives much motivation.

onFirst of all I have already taken a giant step. Moving by myself. After 10 years in the care of my loving wife after a stroke (that didnāt affect my skills in audio production, thankfully) then my wife was not loving anymore and wanted a divorce (Still canāt grasp why), after grilling her somewhat, too much shit came up, so now I wanted a divorce. We went on living as roomies, It was a sensible decision, but when she got a boyfriend I decided to move out. At first just move out, but being handicapped and being at the mercy of the wellfare system, means a long time for things to happen. Anyway, now Iāve got my own flat, I can concentrate on what makes me happy ā music! And I really look forward to 2024. Itās been a long time since I have made any music. But I intend to firstly play around with all the VIās Iāve got, secondly I would like to actually play the piano. I once was a guitarist, but being paralyzed in left arm and hand, it obviously has itās difficulties ;-).
And Iād like to move from Pro Tools 10 to Logic Pro, if not FL Studio, if I win. Of cause Iām also fanatic about plugins, and I have had my eye on a lot of the prizes in this giveaway.
Cheers

onAppreciate the opportunity to get into this because actually itās a big part of my focus currently-since Iām involved in a number of ongoing projects concurrently, the main thing Iāve been working on implementing as part of my overall approach is that, when Iām working on a given project, trying to take it as close to the end goal result as possible/using the notes Iāve made to zero on on specific aspects I want to deal with vs.having a kind of spaced-out workflow where I move from project to project without a real clear sense of whatās going on with eachā¦.

Anyway, how to finish more songs? Honestly, packing both kids off to nursery from the new year and having a bit more time available is the biggest thing. Then I need to focus on not starting a new project everytime I sit down. Go back to the last one, get it finished. Set a time limit, if Iām still working on it after a fortnight, maybe itās time to move on.

onIn 2024 I will try to step up my game and put more time into making music. To finish more of my songs, I think my most important step is to do the right thing in the right order. Itās so easy to look for the PERFECT kick when youāre just going to start the creative process or to tweak the EQ of some ear candy when youāve just started mixing and you lose your flow.
Christian
onPractice more and donāt waste the time !
Miguel DeBarros
onIn 2023 I spent a lot of time watching tutorials on YouTube but I feel it was essential. I started production in September so Iām still very new. My 2024 resolution to complete more tracks is to watch less tutorials. Iām gonna be better with Time management too by allocating my time. Iāll only give myself a set period of time to work on something e.g. the kick. I find the things I spend the most time on, are the things i should probably be spending less time with.
Ruben

onQ: What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?
A: Finish one song a week!
Why: I have a friend who used to be a songwriter, involved in pretty high scale productions. But 2022 she only had 4 cuts. So 2023 she went solo and released 1 song per week. I loved that idea. Put out music. Just put it out. They wont all be hits. But theyāll be out. Often as a songwriter 90% of your s*** wonāt ever be heard by anyone. So thereās something beautiful about simply putting out music; instead of living in constant constipation :)

Martin Saingier
onI will focus on what make my sound special and keep that in mind while composing and producing, instead of simply trying to make my tracks sound betterā¦ š
Paul Tuoti
onWhat steps will I take to finish more songs in 2024? First, I have a habit of trying to fix previous versions of my work and get caught up trying to perfect the potential they have without trying more new sounds and new projects. I have a harder time letting go on some past releases as a perfectionist, and when I learn a new way to mix, or a new effect, I can lose a lot of time rather than moving forward. Also, it would be better if I took some time for some classes, rather than trying to figure things out myself. So thus moving forward and learning from the wise experienced should both help save time and increase quality. Happy New Year BPB.

onI want to create powerful Sound Textures to get an alliance between words of bible and sounds. This word&sound combination I want to perform in several churches

onI have to stop overthinking music production and try to have more fun doing it. Also taking better care of myself so that I actually have energy at the end of the day to be creative.

onSetting small, repeatable goals, and just releasing something even if itās not perfect
Sandwall
onIāve got to focus more on the composition aspect of music creation, since I spent 2023 by working on more sound-design aspects.
David
onUse a minimal set of plugins, and a three step process (create the raw materials, arrange, mix), and specifically not jump into any detailed mixing until the arrangement is in place.

onJe dois absolumment amƩliorer mon workflow, je perds trop de temps, a chaque crƩation je refais tout mon template en changeant de plugin etc.
Plus je dois amƩliorer mes compƩtences en balance de frƩquences dynamiques

onWhat steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?
Just say stop and do not more arrangements.

onIāll focus more on mixing and Iāll make sure I have three versions of a single track to choose from when deciding to finally go for the One I really like the most.

onI watched a video just yesterday where a legendary DnB producer says he spends 5+ weeks on a single song and that helped a lot honestly cuz I feel like I take forever, in general it helps me to just make a bare bones structure to start, throw paint on the wall to see what sticks, and then allow myself to get hyperfocused on small sections at a time. Really just have to start throwing myself into it and having and sticking to a plan/schedule.
Swarup Mandal
onFor fast workflow, I would like to focus only on that particular thing I am working on. Like when I am making beats or music I donāt need to care about the levels or EQ or COMP. Same thing again when I am going to mix a song I am not gonna put my head on the composition. I would like to do each step carefully without any destruction. I donāt wanna care about other things. I think it will make me more productive and efficient.

onI will review subjects like harmony to further refine my musical language. I like how things are going, but I want a faster workflow without compromising quality. Iāve already reduced the number of plugins to an essential minimum that leaves me quite satisfied. With few exceptions, I have basically assigned one plugin for a specific task. I also plan to enhance and expand my network of contacts and recreate my portfolio.

onConcentrate on maintaining a state of flow when it happens. Ride the wave and remove distractions. Also, to focus on the music that creates an emotional response in me, and to not worry about trends and sticking to a specific genre.
