AIR Music Tech has announced that it will release a brand-new plugin on November 29, 2024, and you can have it for free if you act fast.
First, I want to say I’m glad to see some of you are making use of Broken Mini; it’s both bonkers and brilliant!
For some, Black Friday is about getting the family together, driving to the mall, and having a fistfight over the last cheap 50-inch TV.
For BPB, Black Friday is all about free or very, very cheap plugins.
In celebration of Black Friday, AIR Music Tech is gifting its latest plugin to some lucky customers, but there’s a catch.
The catch is that we barely know anything about the plugin; AIR Music Tech is keeping it under strict embargo for now.
So, here’s what they have made public so far.
The plugin will have a regular price of $99, which means there’s a significant saving to be made by grabbing it for free.
The plugin will bring a creative approach to a classic effect processor. AIR Music Tech isn’t a stranger to reimagining popular effect processors; the developer released its take on the much-loved Fruit Soft Clipper (FL Studio) earlier this year.
We also know that the new plugin will combine features and functions inspired by legendary hardware of the last 30 years.
I know AIR Music Tech releases often garner mixed reviews, but when it comes to recreating legendary hardware, the developer has a proven ability with releases like the outstanding Timewarp 2600 (Arp 2600).
Whatever character and features the developer takes from legendary hardware, I’d assume the recreation will be spot on. We just don’t know what that character or those features will be yet!
The final bit of info we have, and perhaps most important for some, is that the plugin works in your DAW (typical formats, AU, VST, AAX) and standalone MPC units, which is good news for MPC folks like me.
To get the plugin for free, all you have to do is sign up with your name and email address (you’ll get some “tasteful” marketing emails along the way).
Once signed up, you’ll receive a welcome email with a 10% discount code, and you’ll receive instructions on how to download the free plugin toward the end of November.
There are a limited number of licenses available for free, so act fast if you don’t want to miss out. As you might expect by now, we don’t yet know how many licenses are available; just do it.
Here’s something we do know: there’s a very short time left to grab NI Monark free with any purchase at Plugin Boutique (the offer ends November 7, 2024).

onThe ads on facebook are outlandish, like “revolutionary” and “game changing”. On the KVR archive they remove statements like that. There has to be more transparency in the plug-in market, and these kinds of statements always need to be called out. In the end if they are that and have to provide evidence, then they can say that. It’s not hype it’s hot air.
Waves is doing a better job by talking about last year’s.
samers
onhow about you as the costumer just don’t take these statements seriously?
RPS
onKVR has a policy that forbids hyperbole in blog posts and things like that, so you won’t see any sort of marketing talk. But, it’s just that, marketing talk. It’s really not that hard to realise when your reading a fact and reading hyperbole.

onI am still, very unimpressed by AIR and Inmusic’s recent stuff (I have for instance one of their keyboards that doesn’t have an existing manual), so I dunno if I should even bother asking someone else to download that for me considering that they broke software that used to work, tell me things that are plainly false, etc.
Frank
onSo hey, AIR music, Inmusic, I fvcking promise I will point some fairly significant issues with your bs.

onTheir page is crashing after a few seconds. Anyone else?
Nick Hope
onCrashes for me in Firefox. Not in Chrome.
Mark D
onMy experience was the reverse: crashed in Chrome, worked in Firefox.
ST
onI tried Brave, Opera, Firefox, crashes every time.
Gives me confidence in their plugin coding. :-)
aqua
ondisabling adblock fixes it for me

onGreat ! Thank you
samers
onthanks!

onlol never mind. it uses ilock, which i’m not even again. but i guess it needs the physical ilock drive to register? guess it cannot be registered to the computer
TenorSaxophone
onI still don’t understand these comments.
iLok is just an account, like the account you created with antares to download warm. When you get antares software running it prompts you to the ilok web page, just log in and go back to antares. Then activate warm, you’ve got 2 activations, one is the ilok account the other is the drive, but you only need 1 for it to activate.
samers
oni understood it to be that it could only be activated to a ilok usb drive, because of their prompt of “seeking the USB drive”, or “don’t unplug the drive while activating” or something like that. but you’re right, it can be activated to the computer after all

onThank you :)

onThanks, sick plugin!
Haist
onThanks. Has anyone with Bitdefender managed to install Warm with Auto-Tune Central? After updating to iLok licencing I can’t.
Haist
onOk, just in case someone else is struggling with this one, you have to add the installer file(s) to advanced threat detection exceptions and also command.bat to antivirus exceptions.

onTried yesterday and today, it adds to cart but doesn’t load checkout payment information side, has anyone managed to get it now or is it maybe too late

onRegarding the free Antares Warm plugins, the PACE copy protection it now uses allows you to register the plug-in to either a physical ilok dongle, or to a computer. You do not need to own a physical Ilok key.
