Audio Plugin Deals have a brand new deal, among many others. Until November 20th, you can grab the ArcSyn Synthesizer by SPC Plugins for only $17.99.
ArcSyn is $89 when not on sale, so this deal offers a big discount of 80%. Let’s take a look at what this synthesizer can do.
At first glance, ArcSyn looks a lot more “polished” than previous SPC Plugins releases.
The sleek, modern look of ArcSyn is a welcome change, especially compared to something like their Freek plugin.
ArcSyn is designed for “sculpting sonic masterpieces.” Its unique waveforms, modulation, and wave sequencing capabilities make it perfect for creating atmospheric soundscapes and even glitchy sounds.
On the surface, this synth might seem fairly straightforward: It’s got 3 oscillators, 2 filters, modulators, and an FX module. Pretty standard for a digital synth.
However, the waveforms in this synth are truly unique. You can explore subharmonics, bit-noise, and FM just by browsing the waveforms.
There are also many different filter types such as “self-oscillating” filters that are inspired by the likes of the Oberheim Matrix 12.
The filter module has a few different clipping modes as well, to add some character and grit to the sound.
The FX module has a lot to offer, with multiple delay types, choruses and flangers, reverb, bitcrushers, and more. You can create some otherworldly sounds with these FX.
Where this synth can get really crazy, is the LFO sequencing module. Think of it like a standard sequencer, but each step can have its own unique modulator that can be routed to any parameter.
This module can get you in the glitchy and bizarre sound territory in no time. A lot of fun to explore for sound design.
One thing I appreciate about ArcSyn is the “screen” in the middle that shows you what parameter you’re tweaking, and its value, nice and big. Very cool!
This plugin also includes a mod matrix, randomization, and over 500 presets. All in all, it’s definitely a unique synth, and worth checking out at $17.99.
ArcSyn is available as a VST2, VST3, or AU plugin for Windows and macOS. Note that there is no AAX version, so it won’t work in Pro Tools.

onVery favorable demo limitations, not even white noise at intervals ?
“DEMO: Runs for 20 minutes. To get more time, close then open again.”
