Tape is a tape emulation plugin (like it says on the tin), including 3 different world-class tape machine models.
Tape is designed to be user-friendly and light on the CPU, which is great to see.
You can change the tape type, the amount of coloration, and the tape speed. There are also more advanced controls, such as tape stop, speed stability, and a high-frequency trim.
British Class A is Softube’s emulation of a classic British mixing console, which has been used on music from Queen, Nirvana, and David Bowie to name a few.
Using this plugin, you can achieve “unmistakable body, depth, and silky sweet top-end” on your tracks.
British Class A includes an analog gate, limiter, compressor, 3-band EQ, and low- and high-cut filters. It also allows adding extra “character” and “drive” to the sound.
The Model 84 Polyphonic Synthesizer is based on the classic Roland Juno synthesizer from 1984, which is a true powerhouse for synth-wave and similar sounds.
Model 84 offers “the authentic sound of the 1980s in plug-in and module form.” It features the unison phase sounds and classic chorus of the Juno synth, as well as velocity and aftertouch capabilities.

FET Compressor MK II is modelled after a unit that was launched asthe “fastest compressor in the world”, with a staggering 20-microsecond attack time.
This plugin is perfect for vocals, drums, or anything that requires heavy-handed compression.
While retaining the classic features of FET compressors, it also gives you modern features such as sidechaining, stereo linking, and a high-frequency make-up control.
Wasted Space is an “instant, extreme lo-fi digital reverb”, with features such as downsampling and aliasing filter types.
Wasted Space features a fairly simple GUI with controls for reverb time and pre-delay, AD/DA conversion, a hi-pass filter, and mix control. It’s easy to use and gives you a reverb with a unique digital lofi character.
