It contains 5 products: Massive and Studio Drummer from Native Instruments, bx_console Focusrite SC and bx_hybrid V2 from Brainworx, and Neoverb from iZotope. Let’s take a look:
Massive from Native Instruments is one of the most popular software synths out there, and is a staple in EDM and bass music.
With its 3 wavetable-based oscillators, an array of modulators, various filter types and FX, Massive is perfect for punchy basses, soaring leads and beyond.
It also contains 1300+ high-quality presets with 8 macro controls to dial them to your liking.
Neoverb from iZotope is “a reverb that listens”, using assistive technology similar to iZotope’s Ozone, and Nectar.
It gives you an intuitive interface to dial in the reverb character, and then listens to the audio to create a reverb that’s “custom-tailored to your track”.
Neoverb can combine reflections, plate, and hall reverb algorithms, and even unmask frequencies by linking to other iZotope plugins you may have in your session.
Brainworx’s bx_console Focusrite SC is an emulation of the legendary Focusrite mixing console that was designed for The Beatles’ producer, Sir George Martin.
It combines the Focusrite ISA-110 preamp and 4-band EQ with the compressor/limiter, de-esser and expander/gate modules from the ISA-130 into a fully featured channel strip that you can use in the comfort of your DAW.
bx_hybrid V2, also by Brainworx, is a fully featured mixing and mastering EQ that’s modelled after the AVID ICON EQ section.
You get separate control over left and right channels with 5 bands as well as a low and high cut filter for each channel, as well as a handy frequency spectrum.
Last but not least, we have Studio Drummer from Native Instruments which is a Kontakt Library featuring 3 top-of-the-line drum kits, as well as over 3300 MIDI grooves to go along with it.
It also gives you a ton of dynamic control, an onboard mixer, and a multitude of FX to explore.
Massive, Neoverb, bx_console Focusrite SC, and bx_hybrid V2 are available for Windows and macOS in VST2, VST3, AU and AAX formats.
NI Massive runs as a standalone program as well. And Studio Drummer works in the free Kontakt Player.
