KEDR Audio is currently offering the Ultimate Experimental Producer Bundle for just $12.55, a hefty 94% off the list price of $218.22.
KEDR Audio distributes the Ultimate Experimental Producer Bundle through Glitchedtones, where you can pick up the deal. The offer expires on February 28, 2025.
The expansive bundle includes 10 libraries containing 1,739 files and 38.16 GB of audio in total.
The featured packs are Aquaria, Computer Sounds, Electromagnetic Fields, Impacto: Morphed Acoustics, Kinetics: Cinematic Tension, Kinetics: Construction Kit, Magnetophon, Radio Nomad, Radiomorph, and Vibrations.
I think this particular offer is definitely one for the more out-there producers who want to create striking tracks for soundtracks, sound design, and unconventional music.
KEDR Audio went all out to ensure the sounds were cutting edge, using a host of elements such as hydrophone recordings, contact mics, ultrasonic mics, and Eurorack synths to produce the content.
Glitchedtones created a SoundCloud playlist featuring samples from all 10 packs, which gives a good indication of what to expect.
There’s quite a range of sounds included in the bundle, but common themes throughout are that the sounds are experimental, ambient, and a little unsettling.
A fair amount of samples sound like something out of a creepy sci-fi or horror movie.
Let’s dig into what the packs offer.
Aquaria offers 2 GB of water-based sound effects that were captured with hydrophones.
Computer Sounds features 469 MB of futuristic digital effects, which sound like something out of a cyberpunk game.
Electromagnetic Fields is a 7.4 GB pack with raw electronic sounds, like humming electrical wires, glitching machines, and other unsettling buzzing textures.
Impacto: Morphed Acoustics is a 3.8 GB pack with cinematic booms, risers, and other sounds that would be right at home in a Terminator movie.
Kinetics: Cinematic Tension has 5.28 GB of sounds for trailer effects, such as impacts, whooshes, and drones. I could imagine these being used to create a modern Doom game.
Kinetics: Construction Kit offers 4.54 GB of raw source recordings for sound design, and features sounds such as items grinding together, being thrown against each other and scraping metal sounds.
Magnetophon is a 1.27 GB pack with analog tape playback sounds, which were recorded with vintage gear for a lo-fi aesthetic. This one is very specific, but I think if you needed something like this, then it would be hella useful.
Radio Nomad is a 1.26 GB collection with gritty radio textures and shortwave transmissions. If you’re making UFO and conspiracy theory content, then this would be right on the money.
Radiomorph is a 6.55 GB pack with shortwave radio effects for the atmosphere and sci-fi sounds. It sounds like a noisier and more chaotic version of Radio Nomad.
Last but not least, there is Vibrations, which is a 5.6 GB collection of textures and impacts created by using contact mics to capture resonances of solid objects. It sounds sort of like the effects you hear in a Fallout game.
