For over twenty years, Acon Digital has developed premium-quality audio software.
Now, they have announced a limited-time sale on their mixing and mastering plugins with discounts up to 70% off.
There’s also a special giveaway available for BPB readers (more info at the end of the article).
The sale covers some of Acon Digital’s most sought after products
Acoustica – at a 30% discount this is a sweet deal for all things related to post-production, audio restoration and editing. Perfect for both mastering, podcasting or other audio tasks.
Acoustica approaches audio at a surgical level with a flexible array of tools. The UI is customizable with meters and handy real-time analyzers. This could be a life saver!

Acoustica is available in either a standard or premium version. Premium gives you additional functionality like speech extraction and multichannel support up to Dolby Atmos 7.12
Remix – 30% discount. Faced with any track, Remix can separate them into five distinct stems: Vocals, piano, bass, drums and other. Each stem has its own volume control that lets you change levels on the fly.

A sensitivity knob is provided to control the separation, and the processing happens in realtime. Perhaps you want to isolate stems and use them for other purposes or mute a vocal track to realize your perfect karaoke night.
Verberate – 70% discount. If you need a highly tweakable reverb known for it’s realistic sound, this might be the deal for you.

Equalize – 70% discount. Equalize is a parametric equalizer with flexible filter slopes, and different modes of operation. Choose between minimum phase, mixed phase, linear phase and zero-latency to suit your specific mixing and production requirements.

Trials are available for all products in case you want a test drive. The trial period lasts a generous 30 days.
Mix & Mastering Suite
This suite contains several nifty plugins at a discount of 60%. The following plug-ins are included:
Dynamics, Multiband Dynamics, Limit, Equalize 2, Verberate 2, and Dither.

Dynamics is a combined compressor, expander and gate with adjustable look-ahead and an intelligent algorithm that is band-limited to minimize potential distortion.

Multiband Dynamics split the processing into four separate bands with selectable crossover frequencies and filter slopes.
The plugin operates in either linear or mixed phase mode. Mixed phase filtering helps to reduce pre-ringing, which can be a problem with linear phase plugins.

Limit is a two-stage limiter with intelligent look-ahead to keep the program material transparent.
The audio is first compressed and then peak limited to dig less audibly into the sound. Oversampling up to four times is provided for true peak limiting and to reduce the amount of aliasing.
Equalize 2 is a parametric equalizer that can be operated in either zero-latency, minimum phase, linear phase or mixed phase mode to have all your bases covered. Filter slopes for each band are fully adjustable, between a smooth 3dB to extremely sharp 120dB per octave.
Verberate 2 is an algorithmic reverb that simulates real acoustical surroundings with a lot of tweakable parameters like room size, time, swirl, dispersion, stereo spread, pre-delay, bloom and more.

Last on this list is Dither. Whenever wordlength is reduced, like sending outboard from your daw or rendering from 32-bit floating point to 24-bit fixed point, quantization distortion will occur within the program material.
To avoid this, you need to apply dither, which is low-level noise uncorrelated with the signal. Acon Digital’s Dither plugin lets you do this with some additional parameters for noise shaping.
Most DAWs have dither options available, but Dither might be interesting if you need even more detailed control.
