Nightfox Audio is offering the Everything Acoustic plugin, a sample-based virtual instrument for Windows and macOS, free exclusively to Bedroom Producers Blog readers until June 23.
Everything Acoustic ($99 list price) comes stacked with ten deeply sampled acoustic instruments that you can layer and shape into hybrid textures.
You get an inspiring selection of acoustic guitars, mandolin, ukulele, harmonics, and more. Each instrument is sampled across the whole fretboard with multiple dynamic layers and round robins.
The plugin’s main panel lets you blend the sampled instruments via simple volume sliders. You can start by combining, say, a 12-string with a baritone ukulele and then shape those layers using the built-in modulation and effects.
I was impressed by the sound engine when I first tested the plugin. It offers a lot of creative potential, considering that you’re working with a sample-based instrument. Once you open the Arp, Mod, and Effect panels, Everything Acoustic starts to feel more like a synth than a rompler.
There’s a full ADSR envelope section, a customizable filter with ten types, and five global effects: Drive (with eight styles), Phaser, Chorus, Delay, and Reverb. You also get three LFOs (pitch, gain, and filter), each with six shape options and plenty of modulation routing.
The LFO curves are customizable, which I absolutely love in a virtual instrument. Drawing custom LFO shapes makes it easy to add subtle movement or push things into experimental territory.
One of my favorite features in Everything Acoustic is the arpeggiator. It’s fully featured with Hold, Latch, and MIDI Thru modes, and I’d love to see it available as a standalone plugin, too.
This isn’t the only sample-based plugin from Nightfox Audio. They offer other plugins focusing on strings, synths, brass, and more.
I asked BPB newsletter subscribers to vote for a freebie they’d like to see, and the acoustic option came out on top. If you’d prefer something else, definitely check out the other collections on the Nightfox Audio website.
Everything Acoustic runs as a standalone app and in AU, VST3, and AAX formats on Windows and macOS (GarageBand is not currently supported).

After registering, redeem your license key on the Nightfox Audio website. You’ll also need to install the Stacks license manager to activate the software, and an internet connection is required for activation.
Let’s quickly go through the steps required to get the plugin. The entire process took less than 10 minutes on my end (including registering an account).

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the process.
Step 1
Click the BUY NOW button to get your free Everything Acoustic license key. You’ll need to enter your name and email address (you can also sign up for the BPB Newsletter if you’d like.
Please make sure you’ve entered the email address correctly when signing up. The license key will be delivered to your inbox.
Here’s how the email looks. It will contain your license key.
Step 2
After signing up, VISIT THIS PAGE on the Nightfox Audio website and redeem your license key.
Simply copy/paste the license key from the email and click CHECK CODE. It will take a few seconds to validate your license key before moving on to the next step.
Step 3
Create an Everything Acoustic user account or log in if you already have one.
This will ensure your license key is added to your account so that you can download and activate Everything Acoustic on your computer.
Step 4
Complete the account creation process (unless you’re already logged in).
You can sign up using your Google account or by entering your name and email address. You will also set up your password at this point.
Step 5
You are now logged in. Click the REDEEM NOW button to proceed. This will assign the license key to your Nightfox Audio user account.
Everything Acoustic is now officially yours! :)
Step 6
Now, click the DOWNLOAD STACKS button. This will download the Stacks license manager to your computer.
Once downloaded, launch the installer and install the software. It works on Windows and macOS.
Step 7
Launch Stack and click LOG IN TO SEE YOUR STACK. This will open a new browser window where you’ll need to enter your email and password.
After logging in, return to Stack.
Step 8
Et voilà! Everything Acoustic is now ready to install.
Click the DOWNLOAD button to download and install Stacks on your computer. You’ll be able to choose the plugin formats and the destination folder for the sample content.
