Korg’s M1 Music Workstation plugin retails for $99, but if you sign up for a new account, you can buy it for just $25. I know that’s not precisely 75%, but, you know, close enough.

Add the M1 plugin to your basket, apply the discount code, and the price will be reduced.
The M1 plugin is available in 64-bit AU, VST, and AAX formats for macOS (10.13 and higher) and Windows (10 or higher).
Korg released the M1 workstation synthesizer in 1988 and continued to produce the forward-thinking keyboard until 1995.
Some sources claim that the M1 is the best-selling synthesizer of all time, while others argue that it’s the Yamaha DX7. Whatever the case, the M1 is certainly in the conversation.
The M1 plugin interface looks slightly dated, but I guess it’s in keeping with the 90s theme. It’s not too cumbersome to work with, but it’s the sound that matters most. If you’re buying an M1 plugin, chances are it’s because you want those famous M1 presets, and they sound fantastic.
$99 is a hard sell for any soft synth these days, given the vast choice available, but authentic Korg M1 sounds for $25 is a great deal.
If you’re too young to remember the synth first time around, you’ll undoubtedly have heard it on the many massive hit records it features on. Everyone from Queen to Beyoncé has featured the M1.
Although it emerged in the late 80s, it’s the 90s that belong to the M1, with its iconic piano and organ presets shaping the sound of house music.

I love the brass sounds from the M1 too; I don’t care if they fall into the “so bad, it’s good” category.
You’ll either love the M1 sounds or hate them; it’s that kind of synth. But if you make house music or any form of electronic dance music, you need that M1 organ.
