I actually captured these sounds 7-8 years ago, spending a few months sampling the MFB-522 analog drum machine in as much depth as possible. The result is one of the most detailed analog drum packs I’ve worked on, featuring multiple round robins for each drum hit.
Every sample was then passed through a range of analog gear I had at the time, including tube preamps, tape decks, and a vintage tape delay.
The MFB-522 has a vibe that’s close to the 808 but still has its own distinctive flavor. If you’re into raw analog drum sounds, there’s a lot to love here.
The pack is divided into six themed kits: Clean (untreated samples), Tube (run through various tube preamps), Cassette (resampled through a Saba CD 262 deck), 4-track (from a Tascam 244 Portastudio), Echocord (processed with a Dynacord Echocord Mini tape delay), and Processed (digitally enhanced).
Each kit includes pre-made presets for Kontakt 5, FXpansion Geist, and Poise, complete with round-robin programming. In total, you get 1,135 drum machine samples in 24-bit WAV format (44.1 kHz, mono), organized into 35 Geist kits, 35 Poise kits, and 8 Kontakt kits.
One of my favorite parts of the library is the Echocord folder. I tweaked the delay settings while recording to achieve some cool motion, and those sounds are reminiscent of something straight out of a vintage anime soundtrack.
If you’re after retro-flavored FX and experimental percussion, definitely give that section a listen.

Analogue Drums is available in 24-bit WAV format and compatible with any DAW or sampler that supports WAV files. Presets are included for Kontakt 5, Geist, and Poise. The download size is around 190 MB (233 MB extracted).
