Soundtrack Loops has launched the SCHAR “Get Ready For Me” Remix Contest, a free-to-enter competition inviting producers worldwide to reimagine the latest track from electronic artist SCHAR (Scharliina).
Remix contests don’t always catch my attention, but this one stands out thanks to the quality of the prizes and the clear focus on creativity instead of gimmicks. If you enjoy working with vocals and putting your own spin on contemporary electronic pop, this is a solid opportunity to showcase your skills.
The first-place prize is simply awesome. The winner will take home a 1010 Music Bento Sampling Production Lab, a powerful hardware sampler valued at around $900.
On top of that, the prize bundle includes Cherry Audio’s Rhodes Chroma synth (VST/AU), AudioKit’s Viral Synth for iOS, a $100 Soundtrack Loops shopping spree, and exclusive merchandise from both Soundtrack Loops and Scharliina. With all of that included, the top prize comes in at roughly $1,260, which is no small reward for a remix contest.
Second and third-place winners won’t walk away empty-handed either. Both places receive Soundtrack Loops store credit, Cherry Audio synth plugins (which are amazing if you ask me), AudioKit Viral Synth for iOS, and merch packs, with total prize values of approximately $209 and $134, respectively.
Entering the Soundtrack Loops contest is simple. You’ll need to register for a free Soundtrack Loops account, download the provided stems, and submit your remix directly on the contest page. Your track must be at least two and a half minutes long and include at least one of the supplied vocal stems.
AI-generated remixes are strictly prohibited, and winners may be asked to provide proof of original work, which is refreshing to see.
Only one entry per participant is allowed, although you can upload improved versions of the same remix before the deadline. I usually have something extra to add to a track after hearing it a few days after it has been “finished,” so being able to send an improved version is welcome.
Submissions close on January 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST, with winners announced on January 30, 2026. Judging will be handled by Scharliina and her team, with an emphasis on creativity and effective use of the stems.
Beyond the prizes, there’s also the chance to be featured on the official digital remix EP, which adds an extra layer of motivation if you’re looking for exposure as well as gear.
The SCHAR “Get Ready For Me” Remix Contest is open worldwide, free to enter, and hosted entirely through Soundtrack Loops. Submissions are uploaded as high-quality MP3 files, and the contest materials work with any DAW on macOS or Windows.
