Noise Trip has released Drive Collection, a new plugin that brings 16 classic, modern, and rare guitar overdrive circuits to macOS and Windows.
This is the debut release from Noise Trip, a solo independent plugin developer from England.
Drive Collection is available at a 30% launch discount until September 9th, and BPB readers get an additional 10% discount automatically (the discount is already applied to the links on this page).
The 16 modeled circuits cover a wide range of overdrive tones, from transparent clean boosts to more saturated dirt. Although Noise Trip uses original names for the pedals, the collection includes circuits similar to the Ibanez TS808 and ST-9, JHS Morning Glory, Paul Cochrane Timmy, Nobels ODR-1, Greer Lightspeed, and several others.
Having lots of pedal models in one plugin is always useful, but the routing is what really makes Drive Collection so interesting. Solo mode lets you use one pedal at a time, while the series and parallel modes let you stack two drives or blend their different characters.
The plugin is designed to sit before your favorite digital amp simulator, just like placing physical overdrive pedals in front of an amplifier. You could use one circuit as a cleaner boost, push another harder, and then change the order or switch to parallel routing to explore a different tone.
Setting the input level correctly can be confusing when working with guitar plugins, so Noise Trip includes a step-by-step Input Gain Wizard. It helps you feed the virtual circuits at the intended level before you start adjusting the drive settings.
There is also a preset browser with a favorites system to help you save and organize tones. Parameter Lock is another useful addition that lets you preserve selected settings while browsing through presets, so you don’t have to lose the setup you already like just to audition something new.

Drive Collection costs $52.50, £45.50, or €52.50 during the 30% launch sale, which ends on September 9th (regularly $75, £65, or €75). The additional 10% BPB discount is applied through the links in this article.
The plugin requires Windows 10/11 or macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon. It is available in 64-bit VST3 and AU formats, requires 100 MB of storage, and does not include a standalone version or AAX support at launch.
