Drumdrops are launching the 1970s Slingerland Classic Rock Kit BFD Pack at 4 PM (BST) today, giving away the first fifteen copies of the kit and offering the next 100 copies at a discount price.
The new BFD Pack version of the Slingerland Classic Rock Kit is compatible with Fxpansion BFD2, BFD3 and BFD Eco (alternative versions such as the Kontakt Pack and the All Samples Pack can be purchased on the Drumdrops website). The Kontakt Pack version of the library was launched earlier this year and is currently priced at $46 (there are only nine copies left at the time of writing this article).
If you’re interested in grabbing the Drumdrops Slingerland Classic Rock Kit BFD Pack for free, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Create a Drumdrops user account (registration is free).
- Be among the first 15 customers to check out with the new BFD Pack.
The giveaway begins today at 4 PM (BST) and only the first fifteen copies of the library will be free. The next 50 will be priced at £15 and 50 more will be available for £25 after that. The retail price of the BFD Pack will be £35.
The library is based on 6,695 samples, adding up to 1.91 GB of data. The kit was recorded at Miloco’s The Pool Studios in London and mixed by Alan Moulder. Audio demos are available on the Drumdrops website (linked below).
Keep in mind that these free copies go incredibly fast and there’s also a possibility of server issues due to high traffic. You’ll need quite a bit of luck in order to grab this one for free, but it’s certainly worth a try!
