Comelody has released Melodo, a freeware virtual plugin (for Windows and Mac) designed for easy creation and sharing of short musical phrases and loops.
Comelody has announced the release of Melodo, which is described as “the first platform for instantly browsing short musical phrases”.
Melodo is available for free download via Comelody (2,8MB download size, VST/AU plugin format for Windows & Mac OS X).
The plugin supports DAW synchronisation and comes with a full featured sequencer, as well as a built-in synthesizer. It is also capable of hosting other VST/AU plugins!
The basic idea behind Melodo is that allows people to share musical phrases with other people from around the world. You can see how well Melodo integrates with Ableton Live, in the demo video embedded below. I really like what I’ve seen so far!
