CIS DSP Factory has released Betty Middle, a freeware stereo enhancer effect in VST plugin format which can be used to center the bass frequencies in the stereo image.
“Betty Middle” is a Stereo Enhancement VST Plugin for Windows based hosts with “Center Bass” Option.
Betty Middle is available for free download via CIS DSP Factory (1.9MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin for Windows, made with SynthMaker).
The plugin uses m/s techniques to control the stereo width of the audio signal. It can be used as a stereo enhancer (capable of widening the image up to 200%), but it is also capable of centering the bass frequencies in a mix.
