Yuroun Sound Design has released YSD-pHATNER Free, a freeware mastering tool in VST plugin format for Windows.
The YSD-pHATNER is a mastering tool and a sound shaper/fattener/destroyer in one. It can be used on the master channel or on individual channels to fatten up a lead, bass or drum.
YSD-pHATNER Free is available for free download via Yuroun Sound Design (2.4MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows). No registration is required, simply click the download button to get the archive.
The commercial version of YSD-pHATNER is priced at €9,95. I can’t find a comparison sheet for the two versions, but my guess is that the free version doesn’t support routing.
Both versions include a brickwall limiter, sound widener, overdrive, multi-mode filter and a tape saturation module.
