Prism House and Rekkerd have released Prism House Samples Vol. 2, a free collection of found sounds recorded in New York City.
“Prism House Samples Vol. 2″ is a new collection of 80 found sound samples gathered from field recordings made exclusively in New York City. The pack includes natural percussion hits and unique loops recorded in Mid-Side using the Zoom H2N field recorder.
Prism House Samples Vol. 2 is available for free download via Rekkerd (48.5MB download size, 80 samples in 24-bit WAV format). You’ll find a link to the first part of the release on the same page.
The sounds were recorded with a Zoom H2N field recorder, using M/S techniques. The pack contains various percussive and atmospheric loops, as well as a selection of natural percussive sounds.
Unfortunately there’s no audio demo available (I always prefer hearing a demo track before downloading the actual samples), but I’ve downloaded the pack and I can tell you that you’ll love these if you’re looking for free found sounds!
