LVC-Audio has released v1.1 of Clip Shifter, a free clipper/saturator effect in VST plugin format for Windows.
Clip Shifter is a plugin designed to provide saturation and clipping effects to your audio. This can be useful for individual tracks, busses, and overall mixes.
Clip Shifter is available for free download via LVC-Audio’s website (1.6MB download size, 32-bit & 64-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
The plugin was originally released as a KVR Developer Challenge 2012 entry. The new version of the plugin introduces a new GUI, with VU meters and a waveform history view.
It also includes several other improvements, such as clip shape controls and variable attack and release times of the clipping threshold (a complete list of changes is distributed within the download archive).
