Cableguys have released PanCake 2, an improved version of their advanced freeware auto-pan effect for Windows and Mac.

PanCake 2 is available for free download via Cableguys (2.1MB download size, VST/AU/RTAS plugin format for Windows & Mac).
The new version of the plugin features a visual display of both stereo channels, optional LFO triggering via MIDI notes, a dry/wet control, as well as a completely redesigned GUI.
The original PanCake was the best auto-pan effect I’ve ever used, free or commercial. There’s little doubt that I’ll be saying the same thing about PanCake 2 once it’s installed on my machine.
