Nikolozi Meladze has released Easy MIDI Free, a free version of his Easy MIDI virtual MIDI keyboard/controller application of Mac.
Easy MIDI Free turns your Mac keyboard into a powerful MIDI keyboard controller. It sends MIDI notes messages to any soft synth or DAW such as GarageBand, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Nuendo, Pro Tools and Digital Performer.
Easy MIDI Free is available for free download via Nikolozi Meladze’s website (you will be forwarded to the App Store for the actual download link).
The app turns keyboard strokes into MIDI notes, which can be sent to virtually any DAW. It also features controls for velocity and sustain, as well as transpose and octave switch.
The full version of Easy MIDI has some additional features such as pitch bend, MPC style drum pads layout, mouse gestures, program changes, etc. Seems like a great little app, to be honest.
Does anyone know of a Windows alternative to this?
