Sonigen has released v0.9.222 of Sonigen Modular, a (currently free) modular synthesizer in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
After a long and arduous journey the new beta version is ready. The main points of interest are VST and MIDI automation, Controllers and Modifiers depreciated in favour of dedicated modules, some general user interface improvements.
Sonigen Modular is available for free download via Sonigen’s website (3.0MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows).
The new version of Sonigen Modular introduces full VST and MIDI automation support, several new modules, and various GUI improvements. You can find the full list of improvements on KVR Audio.
The current beta version of Sonigen Modular is completely free! If you’re looking for more free modular synths, take a look at Bazille by u-he. I think that both of these will go commercial when they reach v1.0, so enjoy them while they’re free.
