Guitar Interactive and Arobas Music have announced that the Guitar Pro 6 Lite tablature software suite is now available as a free download.

Guitar Pro 6 Lite is available for free download via Arobas Music (29.3MB download size, standalone application for Windows, Mac & Linux). Please note that you will need to submit a working email address in order to receive your license and get the download link.
The Lite version lacks some of the functionality from the full version of Guitar Pro 6. As far as I could find out, the Lite version is regularly priced at $19 (I could be wrong, though!).
