The Neuron VS Synthesizer For Mac OS X Is Now Updated & Free!

Prosoniq Products Software has announced that their Neuron VS software synthesizer is available as freeware for Mac OS X users.

Thanks to the generosity of former Hartmann CEO Stefan Rapp and Neuron designer Axel Hartmann I am now able to provide an updated version of the original <NeuronVS> software here free of charge, (hopefully) free of bugs – and with no warranties of any kind.

NeuronVS is available for free download via Prosoniq Products Software (12.4MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Mac OS X).

The Neuron VS project was discontinued back in 2004 because the Hartmann company went out of business. Stephan Bernsee (who was part of the team who worked on the development of this innovative synthesizer) has now cleaned up the code and released the plugin as free software!

This is the complete and updated version of Neuron VS, ready to be used in modern DAWs. Unfortunately, some of the functionality of the synthesizer can’t be used if you don’t have the Neuron VS hardware controller.
