Rob Papen has released RP-Dock, a freeware live VST/AU plugin host designed for use with Rob Papen products (it should work with other plugins too!).
RP-Dock is a standalone host application for all our current Rob Papen products. From BLUE to Blade, and all our FX plug-ins can also be loaded!
RP-Dock is available for free download via Rob Papen’s website (32-bit & 64-bit standalone application for Windows and Mac). Please note that you’ll need to register at the site in order to get the download link.
The program was developed as a dedicated host for Rob Papen’s instruments and effect, however I think it will work with all other VST/AU plugins. If what I’ve read online is correct, it will load virtually any plugin, as long as it’s located in the Rob Papen installation folder on your machine.
I still haven’t tested this myself, but it looks like a handy little VST host. Please let me know what you think about this program in the comments section!
