Noisebud has released GranMa, a freeware granulizer VST effect plugin which is designed for use in live situations.
GranMa records the incoming audio as long as you hold the record button, as soon you’re done recording you can start to jump around in GranMa’s audio buffer by “scratching” the two buffer plates.
GranMa is available for free download via Noisebud (5.4 MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
The plugin is designed as a simple granulizer effect for live use. It records the audio on the input and then allows skipping through the recorded audio sample using the two dedicated buffer plates on the GUI.
