Acustica Audio has released Stradipad Free, a free virtual preamp which is designed for processing acoustic string instruments and synthetic string pads.
Acustica Audio present the free version of “Stradipad Swedish Strings”. StradiPad is created to supply at demand for synthetic strings, synth pad and acoustical string instruments tracks processing.
Stradipad Free is available for free download via Acustica Audio (49 MB download size, EXE file, contains 1 virtual effect in 32-bit & 64-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
The plugin is based on a single preset from Acustica Audio’s commercial Stradipad Swedish Strings virtual preamp. It can be used to process string sounds and easily prepare them for an ABBA style mix.
Stradipad Free, like all other Acustica Audio products, is based on their magnificent Nebula technology. It results in great sound, at the expence of a somewhat higher CPU hit. If you’re working on an older machine, my suggestion is to bounce the track as soon as it is proccessed, just as you would do if you were using external audio gear to process your sounds.
The download process is a bit complicated. To get the free plugin, click on the Shop button in the top menu, then browse to Acqua Plugins >> Free Series and add Stradipad Free to your shopping cart. Once you’re there, register for a free account and you will gain access to the download link. Enjoy!
