Yuvi Gerstein has released Space Guitars Vol.1, a free collection of audio loops capturing the sound of two different electric guitars played through the vintage Roland Space Echo RE-150 delay unit.
Space Guitars is a new sample pack written recorded and mixed by music producer Yuvi Gerstein at the slick studio. The pack contains original samples recorded using a classic vintage Roland space echo RE-150 and some really good guitars and mics.
Space Guitars Vol.1 is available for free download via Yuvi Gerstein’s website (380 MB download size, ZIP archive).
The download speed is incredibly slow at the moment, so I was unable to download the pack and check the contents in depth before publishing this article. Going higher than 70 kB/s during the download seems impossible. For a 380 MB archive, this means that the download will take around one hour or more to complete.
The download link is now updated and the download works flawlessly!
Judging by the available audio demo tracks, the included guitar loops sound nice and lush. Yuvi has played Fender Telecaster USA and Gibson ES-175 guitars through the legendary Space Echo by Roland and captured the sound with high quality microphones. You can use these sounds in all sorts of music, from hip hop to pop and indie. I can hear a lot of variety in the demos.
A couple of years ago, Yuvi has released another free guitar based sample collection. It’s called Jazzy Quirky Guitars and was featured on BPB back in the day. Enjoy!
