Music producer Alex Merced has released a collection of free presets for the Sytrus and FMMF virtual instruments, along with a small collection of vocal samples and drum one shots.
Alex Merced of AlexMerced.com has made some Sytrus and FMMF presets and voice samples available for free. There are 6 Sytrus preset packs, each with 10 presets (60 total), most of them being bass presets. There is 1 pack of 6 FMMF presets. Also, there is 1 pack of over 10 vocal samples (4 of them quick clips of me singing, 3 of them me making beatbox sounds like kick, snare, and high hat. The rest being some phrases in a funny accent that can be used in whatever way.
The Sytrus presets are organized into six individual sound banks, each featuring a set of ten patches. Most of the included sounds can be described as dubstep bass patches, although you’ll also find some modern dance leads, etc. The FMMF sound bank is rather tiny and features only six presets.
The download page linked below also features a collection of vocal samples created by Alex. Although there’s some audible noise in the background of the samples, some of the included vocal phrases are quite useful. Short chants like “Yeah!” and “What?” sound rather and I think that they’d work rather well in genres like hip hop and trap.
Finally, the page features a collection of drum one shots in WAV format. You’ll find a set of ten layered kick samples and ten layered snare samples, organized into two separate folders.
