Convoluted Anode – Free Reverb Impulse Response Collection By Diego Stocco

3

Diego Stocco has released FS // Convoluted Anode Bonus, a free (or “pay what you want”) collection of reverb impulse responses which have been designed for processing drum loops and other percussive elements.

“FFS // Convoluted Anode Bonus” is a mini set of 15 Impulse Responses specifically designed for the processing of beats and percussive instruments. You can download it for free or “pay what you want”.

Diego Stocco has recently released another similar pack called Percussive Echoes Bonus, which I’ve tested before and got some great sounding results with it. All of these free impulses are a part of the Feedforward Sounds series which also features a much larger FFS // Rhythmic Convolutions collection with 200 individual files.

The impulses in the Convoluted Anode Bonus pack are based on sounds which have been made with the MeeBlip Anode synthesizer. Unlike most reverb impulse responses out there (the majority of which are based on hardware reverb devices or real spaces), the ones included in this freebie pack have a lovely dark  and digital vibe.

They really add a new dimension to drum loops and you can get some beautiful industrial sounds by applying them to your percussive tracks. Diego has also provided a nice video tutorial on using reverb impulses such as these for sound design purposes.

The pack is offered on a “pay what you want” basis. To grab these impulse responses for free, simply submit your email address and enter “0” as the price on the product page linked below. The download link will appear in your browser window and it will also be delivered to the provided email address.
