Image Line has released Olbaid Sytrus Essentials, a freely downloadable Sytrus sound bank crafted by Carlos Montalvo aka Olbaid.

For the FL Studio users out there, you’ll be happy to hear there is a new preset pack for Sytrus currently available for free. The pack of sounds was designed by a Mexico-based electronic music producer Carlos Montalvo also known as Olbaid.

Olbaid Sytrus Essentials contains 151 presets for the Image Line Sytrus virtual synthesizer that comes with FL Studio. The sound bank features presets to generate percussive sounds, lead synths, plucks, bass, sound effects, and more. You can get a pretty good idea of the sounds included by listening to the YouTube demo video embedded at the top of this page. According to the creator, 100% of the sounds in the video were created using Olbaid Sytrus Essentials and have no post production effects on them.

For those familiar with Olbaid’s music, the style of the presets featured in the sound bank should come as no surprise. Having never heard of him before I listened to the demo video and would describe the majority of the sounds as being classified as inspired by EDM, house, and trance. If you are familiar with Sytrus, you’ll find it easy to customize any of these presets in order to make them fit your personal taste and the style of the track at hand.

Olbaid Sytrus Essentials for FL Studio 12 can be downloaded for free at The Artist Union in exchange for connecting their app with your YouTube account. You would be required to follow or subscribe to both The Artist Union and Olbaid on YouTube in order to complete the download if you don’t already have an account with The Artist Union. Alternatively, you could also download the file directly from Google Drive. Both links are available in the YouTube description.

Olbaid Sytrus Essentials is available for free download via YouTube (21.3 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 151 presets in FST format for Sytrus).
