Ultimate Patches has released two sets of free taster packs featuring a selection of presets from their premium sound banks for the Korg Minilogue and Roland JU-06 hardware synthesizers.
The included freebie presets were handpicked from the Ultimate Bass Patches For Roland JU-06 Boutique ($25), Ultimate Poly & Lead Patches For Roland JU-06 Boutique ($25), and Ultimate Patches For Korg Minilogue ($25) sound banks. There are 30 free presets in total, 10 for the Korg Minilogue and 20 for the Roland JU-06 synthesizer. Same as the full version of each sound bank, the free taster packs contain detailed instructions on how to transfer the new presets to your device and backup the existing data.
It’s also worth noting that each Korg Minilogue preset comes with a demo sequence to demonstrate its sound. You can simply hit the “Play” button on your Korg Minilogue to hear the loaded patch in action. Patch transfer can be performed with the free Korg Minilogue Sound Librarian.
To download the free presets, simply visit the product page that you’re interested in and locate the free taster pack link (usually located at the bottom of the product page). The presets can be downloaded directly from the Ultimate Patches website (linked below), no user signup or registration required. They are provided as ZIP archives which contain the preset files in PRM format (for Roland JU-06) and MNLGLIB format (for Korg Minilogue).
