Soundtoys Effect Rack Is $99 For Two Days Only!

7

Soundtoys has launched a flash sale, offering the Effect Rack ($299 value) plugin for only $99 until September 17th, 2020.

Effect Rack is an all-in-one plugin that contains fourteen essential Soundtoys effects in a single interface. You can mix and match the plugins to create custom FX chains in your DAW. The plugin comes with a huge amount of presets that are optimized for sound design purposes, as well as for solving various mix problems.

Soundtoys already offered as similar Effect Rack sale earlier this year. The plugin was also available for free use (extended trial period) during the lockdown. I tested the plugin and decided to purchase it because it offers so much functionality. At just $99, this is a great value.

Another thing to consider is that owning Effect Rack will increase your crossgrade discount if you decide to purchase the complete Soundtoys bundle later on. Soundtoys will probably have another big sale later this year, so that will be a great time to crossgrade.

Here’s a short excerpt from our previous article about the Soundtoys Effect Rack:

Soundtoys claim that the Effect Rack is their most powerful plugin. It’s easy to understand why – you get fourteen effects in a single plugin that acts as an intuitive environment for building custom FX chains. Your virtual effect racks can be saved as presets for later use. With some time, you can create a bank of powerful multi-effect setups for mastering, analog saturation, modulation, and more.

Effect rack is available in VST, AU, and AAX plugin formats for digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. Keep in mind that only 64-bit plugin hosts are supported.

  1. Oh dang. Maybe can’t pass on this one…is there any CPU overhead for the fx rack version compared to using the same plugins outside of it?
