W.A. Production offers the Puncher 2 ($69 value) multi-band compressor plugin as a FREE download until December 22nd, 2022.
Puncher 2 is a versatile compression tool with transient shaping, multi-band compression, and parallel compression capabilities. It typically costs $69, but W.A. Production offers it for free as part of their Christmas Sale.
All three effects listed above are conveniently packed into a single interface. This is useful if you’re mixing a drum kit, for example, as you can shape the transients and compress the signal, all from a single plugin instance.
The interface features a real-time waveform graph and three control knobs, each connected to one compression type (transient shaping, multi-band, and parallel compression). The gain section on the right lets you adjust the master volume. It’s also worth noting that the interface is freely resizable.
