NOMZ Studios has updated StemMaster to version 1.1.54, adding mastered stem export to its automated mixing and mastering application for Windows and macOS. BPB readers can use coupon code BPB15 to get 15% off until October 31st, 2026.
StemMaster is a standalone desktop application that builds a mix from individual stems using level, EQ, compression, panning, width, ducking, reverb, vocal riding, and section automation. It then masters the result with multiband compression, EQ, saturation, and true-peak limiting.
The headline addition in version 1.1.54 is the new Mastered option under File > Export Stems.
Exporting stems after mastering is tricky because master-bus processors react to the complete mix, not each track in isolation. Running every stem separately through that chain will not recreate the approved master when the files are recombined.
StemMaster measures the master bus’s contribution and applies the appropriate share to each exported stem. NOMZ Studios says importing the files into a DAW at unity gain reconstructs the finished master, with its automated test producing a residual around 130 dB below the signal.
You can deliver a mastered stem set while retaining the option to raise a vocal or adjust another element without rebuilding everything.
Processed Only exports per-track cleanup without the mix decisions, while Full Mix includes the complete mix but leaves out the master bus. All three modes write numbered 32-bit floating-point WAV files.
The Engine Notes panel describes every decision and includes the measurements behind it. The faders move to the generated mix, and you can adjust them manually before the application rebuilds the master around your changes.
There’s also the Direction palette, which shows which descriptive cues the built-in engine understands and warns when automatic leveling outweighs a request.
The default analysis engine runs locally without an account, API key, or audio upload. An optional AI engine works with the user’s own API key and receives measurement data rather than audio.
StemMaster supports Windows 10 and 11, plus Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or newer. Intel Macs are not supported. The Mac installer is signed and notarized; Windows may display a SmartScreen warning because NOMZ Studios is a new publisher.
The no-time-limit demo includes the complete application, but disables exports and periodically plays a short audio tag. Direct Windows and Mac downloads are available from the campaign page, with no account required.
