It’s spring here in the northern hemisphere, and that means two things. Firstly, the weather is finally manageable, although still unpredictable. Secondly, the music software market is waking up from its winter sleep, giving us the year’s first round of sales and freebies.
While these deals may not quite live up to the ones we anticipate during the Black Friday season, there are some hidden gems worth exploring if you’re considering upgrading your music production toolkit.

In their website they clearly state “Pick ANY 3 Plugins for $49.99 with code: 3BX-4999” but when I use the voucher to buy three non BX plugins, I get the message “The voucher requires a specific quantity of products in your cart. Please check the voucher requirements.”
And I don’t find any “voucher requirements” on their website.

onIt has to be 3 plugins from the ‘made by BX’ category. It’s implied in the code but unnecessarily misleading. Plus there’s also 3 exceptions: AMEK mastering compressor, THE OVEN and SA2RATE 2.

Good thing is, thinking clearly one day after, I find that I don’t actually need those plugins. Yesterday I would definitely have bought them on impulse.
Also, from now on, I can safely ignore anything Plugin Alliance related. Between this ordeal and the last 20$ voucher “gift” where they hiked the prices during the promo, this is a company that cannot be trusted.
