Sir Otter
onIt’s £149 or €179, not $149 on PB right now.

onDepends what country you’re in. Or what country it detects you’re in. I bought some stuff in dollars. My problem is I have most of this stuff due to ridiculous sales of the past (I’m a cheapskate) and there’s some stuff I’d like, but not for this price. I feel too tired to see if I’d get a discount for what I already have and my real feeling is I’ve got too much already. IK don’t seem to think very clearly about their customers. But the plugins are good, and I don’t much care if they are the latest thing. I, personally, am far from being the latest thing ..

onShows $149 at PB for me. I got it a while back and it’d just so much stuff. I’ve got enough but I wanted to have Amplitube/Tonex. Sampletank is entirely too big, but has everything. It’s a great deal when you consider all the T-racks stuff too. Personally, what I use most is the Modo Bass. Its probably the best bass available. (Fight me Trillian lovers)

onI won’t fight you, but I do love Trillian. No buyer’s remorse for any Spectrasonics software
Charles
onBloated, and doesn’t include updated T-Racks stuff…

onSome of the stuff included is from the stone age. Also they don‘t include T-Tacks 6 only the old 5 version. So even though you buy the latest and greatest and maxest you still get some of the plugins my Grandpa used. Jampoints (accumulated bonus money) can only be used up to 30% of the value. So if you‘ve spent hundreds or thousands and earned cashback, you can not spend it all and they keep pushing you to buy new stuff. I learned my lesson the hard way, just like with Waves. Stay away if you don‘t absolutely need IK.

onThat’s a bit harsh I think…. for those of us that don’t have too many third party plugins/instruments £149 is a very good deal and IK stuff are usually quality…
sake
onalso theyre on an upwards trajectory with abandoning their policy of 10 content downloads till you have to pay them again to download your stuff.
id never buy the stuff full priced but since theres been so many deals i own quite a few of their products and cant say they werent worth what i spend on em. been using mixbox, comprexxor and some of their reverbs in almost every project.
