Noizebreaker is a new Kontakt library from Sick Noise Instruments, and you can download it free for a limited time.
You should note that Noizebreaker requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher.
The sci-fi-inspired library has a regular price of $57, but for the next couple of weeks (almost – at the time of writing), you can grab it for free at The Sound Ape.
Sick Noise Instruments has taken inspiration from sci-fi mainstays like robots, transformers, and aliens.

The library includes a diverse collection of over 200 high-quality samples, including:
- Downers – 12
- Drones – 12
- Glitches – 12
- Impacts – 36
- Robotic Footsteps – 17
- Shut Downs – 24
- Signals – 16
- Robotic SFX – 34
- Transform SFX – 24
- Weapons – 24
Many of the featured sounds are suitable for various genres of music, including techno, dubstep, and any dystopian, futuristic cinematic tracks.
But this library could be a gem if you’re a sound designer/media composer for games, film, or animation.

As a media composer, most projects throw a few curveballs in terms of sounds that are more difficult to source, create, or get right. In the sci-fi realm, having elements like robotic footsteps, transform SFX, and futuristic weapons at hand can be game-changing for a cinematic trailer.
The wrong sounds in a trailer will only lead to content that makes the Sharknado franchise look well-made.
If you are in or entering the trailer scoring process, make sure to check out Audiomodern’s Spectra and Flame Sound cinematic SFX libraries.
The interface provides ample controls to tailor each sound to your exact requirements. You have an ADSR envelope, various filter types and waveshapes, and an LFO with adjustable Rate and Depth.
You can also adjust the number of voices with Detune and Spread controls. You can create high-impact sounds while ensuring they fit the context of any scene perfectly.
There’s also an Effects panel with Reverb, Delay, Flanger, Phaser, and Distortion modules.
If robots and transformers are your thing, make sure you catch this offer before the countdown timer hits zero.
You can go a step further with the new Alien Toolz Kontakt library, currently €29.99 (usually €109) on the Sick Noise Instruments website.
