For those who do not know, Flame Sound is my cinematic sound design label. I use it to release sound packs for trailers, video production, game development, and music production.

Blaze Tension Builders was originally created for cinematic trailers, where these types of sounds are used to build suspense before a cut, impact, or scene transition.
The pack includes 50 tension-builder effects in 24-bit WAV format.
That said, I think these types of sounds are also super useful in music production. Tension builders can work very well in electronic music when you want to add movement before a drop, create a transition into a new section, or make an arrangement more dynamic.
They can also fit other genres. I have received several emails from producers who used these sounds in metal tracks and industrial music, so the pack is not limited to trailer work or EDM build-ups.
The nice thing about WAV sound effects is that you can drag them directly into your DAW timeline, trigger them from a sampler, reverse them, pitch them, stretch them, chop them, or process them through your favorite effects chain.
If you are working on a track that needs more movement, I’m pretty sure these tension builders will help you add energy without writing another synth part or drum fill. Sometimes a short riser or noise build-up is enough to make the next section land just right.
