HoRNet Plugins is offering HoRNet DeeLay as a free download for 48 hours with the coupon code DLYFREE.
Huge thanks to BPB readers Piti Acho and Javier Emanuel for sharing this one in the BPB Community. The offer expires soon, so I’m keeping this short and getting it out as fast as possible.
We’ve covered similar HoRNet DeeLay giveaways on BPB a few times before, including one-day and Black Friday offers, but if you missed those earlier chances, now is another good time to add it to your account.
HoRNet DeeLay normally costs €7.99. To get it for free, use the link below with the discount already applied, or enter the coupon code DLYFREE manually at checkout.
DeeLay is a digital dub delay inspired by the sound of early 90s digital delay units. I tried it a few times in the past and liked it a lot. It reminds me a bit of my all-time favorite (and sadly discontinued) delay, the wonderful ET-301 by arcDev Noise Industries.

HoRNet’s plugin can work as a straightforward delay, but the more interesting side is the vintage digital character, modulation, and feedback routing.
The Vintage mode simulates 12-bit digital conversion and adds some analog-style saturation. It gives the repeats a nice and gritty digital tone. If you want a cleaner delay, you can turn Vintage mode off and use it as a plain digital delay.
Delay time can be set manually or synced to the host tempo, with sync values from 1/16th note up to 1 bar. DeeLay also includes an internal LFO that modulates delay time, which can create pitch movement, wobble, chorus-like effects, or much more chaotic glitchy repeats.
Feedback can go up to endless delay generation, so you can build looping textures and then manipulate the delay time for pitch-shifted effects. The plugin also gives you feedback and output panning per channel, which opens the door to ping-pong-style movement, mono delay, reversed stereo routing, and other creative setups.
The feature set includes delay time up to 5000 ms, LFO rate from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz, time modulation, Vintage mode, feedback panning, output panning, and 15 factory presets.
This is not the best or freshest delay plugin in the world, but it’s fun and very useful if you like dub delays or experimental feedback effects.
HoRNet DeeLay is available for macOS 10.11 or later and Windows Vista or later, 64-bit only. It comes in Audio Unit, VST2.4, VST3, and AAX formats, with native Apple Silicon support except for AAX.
Also, a quick reminder that CapySynth is free today only, so grab that one too if you missed it this morning.
