Lars-Erik Johansson has released a free sample pack featuring a set of one shot drum samples which have been recorded from the Elektron Analog Rytm analogue drum machine.
Here’s 49 samples I made from my Elektron Analog Rytm. This is more or less less vanilla samples showing off only default sounds and a few variations and presets of the analog “machines” in the Analog Rytm.
The samples have been recorded with the Fireface UCX audio interface by RME Audio and the signal path was kept as clean as possible in order to get the raw uncolored sounds of the Analog Rytm drum machine. Both the built-in effects and the compressor of Analog Rytm have been switched off.

The samples are labeled by type and the included text guide contains a list of the abbreviations which were used in the file names, so it’s much easier to find the type of sound you’re looking for (for example, bdcl means “bass drum classic” and sdhd stands for “snare drum hard”). There are 49 individual samples inside the pack, all of them in 24-bit mono WAV format.
When it comes to sound quality, this sample pack is absolutely top notch. It’s a recommended download for people who are looking for free Analog Rytm samples, as well as anyone in need of a quality pack of electronic drum sounds.
There aren’t any official audio or demo videos for the free sample pack, so here’s a video overview of the original hardware instrument:
