Function Loops and SHARP have released Summer Piano Loops, a free collection of piano loops in WAV and MIDI formats.
Summer Piano Loops contains 100 piano loops which are completely royalty free for use in free and commercial music projects. The loops are designed for use in modern electronic dance music like melodic techno, house, and other similar styles, so don’t expect realistic grand piano performances in this pack. Instead, Summer Piano Loops focuses on groovy piano chords, funky stabs, and sampled piano sounds reminiscent of the legendary Korg M1 piano patch. All audio loops were recorded at 124 BPM and are key-labelled to make it easier for the user to fit them into a project.
Apart from the audio files in WAV format, the pack also includes a MIDI version of each loop. This means that the users can edit and customize the provided loops in order to change their key, timing, or tone.
