TWENTY9Audio has released Modern Bass, a free collection of audio loops, MIDI files, and NI Massive synth presets for EDM producers.
Modern Bass is a relatively small download, offering just a bit over 130 MB of audio content (100 MB download size). The quality of the included sounds and presets is on a very high level, though, which earned this free collection a mention in our news section. It also doesn’t require you to sign up before downloading, which is always a plus.
The pack contains 31 presets for Native Instruments Massive, covering a range of modern leads and bass sounds. The presets sound very modern and are well-made overall. Definitely on par with commercial releases in the genre. In addition to the presets, TWENTY9Audio has also included a set of 29 audio loops for EDM producers and 19 sequences in MIDI format. Finally, as a bonus, the pack contains 10 pre-made presets for loading the included loops into Logic’s ES2 sampler.
Again, it’s not a huge freebie pack like our recently released BPB Black Friday Sample Pack 2017 but the included sounds and presets are great. Even if you don’t use NI Massive in your music, the provided audio loops and MIDI files make Modern Bass worth the download.
