Mondo Loops has announced the release of Free Lofi Samples, a freely downloadable collection of guitar loops and samples intended for use in lofi hip hop music.
Free Lofi Samples is a series of lofi hip hop sample packs released by Mondo Loops on their YouTube channel. The artist has released several loop libraries so far, featuring clean and processed electric guitar samples and loops. Some of their recently released sound packs also include Ableton Live project files.

I don’t know about you, but my favorite background music when writing articles for BPB or doing any other type of work is lofi hip hop. The dusty, melancholic vibes and the non-intrusive character of the genre is simply great for focusing and finding inspiration. Especially on a cold rainy day!
Another reason to check out Mondo Loops’ lofi hip hop sample packs is that he is a bedroom producer just like the rest of us. He works with a modest recording setup consisting of a Gretsch G2655 electric guitar, the M-Audio Keystation Mini 32 MK3 keyboard, and the Focusrite Scarlett Solo (2nd Gen) USB audio interface. What better way to get inspired than to check out the work of another artist who uses resources that are similar to yours? Check out these free lofi hip hop loops and you might get an idea for creating a sample pack using your own studio gear. You might also want to check out BPB’s freely downloadable Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE and Game Boy Drum Kit sample packs. These were also created using entry-level recording gear.
