AmpliTube SVX is a collection of virtual bass amps, cabinets, and stompboxes for IK Multimedia’s free AmpliTube Custom Shop platform. You can use AmpliTube Custom Shop as a standalone program or as a VST, VST3, AU, or AAX plugin in your favorite DAW on both Windows and macOS.
The AmpliTube SVX bundle contains eighteen gear models in total, including four bass amplifiers, six cabinets, and eight pedals. These include detailed simulations of legendary bass amps like the Ampeg BA-500 and Ampeg STV-Classic, as well as the Ampeg SCP-OD overdrive pedal.

I’ve always been a fan of the free content that comes with the AmpliTube Custom Shop plugin, and I’ve acquired quite a few add-on amps in the meanwhile, some of which were limited-time freebies like this one and other ones I’ve purchased.
Although yours truly is definitely not a guitar or bass tone expert, it really doesn’t take a lot of expertise to get some good sounds out of IK Multimedia’s virtual amps.
