Plugin Boutique offers the Balancer by Sonible as a free add-on with any purchase until April 30th, 2021.
Balancer was developed by Sonible and Focusrite and released in November 2019 as an exclusive free download for all Focusrite Plug-in Collective members.

The initial free download period was extended by December 12th. As of right now, the only way to download Sonible Balancer is via the Focusrite Plug-in Collective (which is available for Focusrite hardware owners).
However, you can also grab a free copy of Balancer with any Plugin Boutique purchase by the end of April. The user can choose between Sonible Balancer and the Mastering the Mix LEVELS plugin which we covered (and reviewed) previously.
So, how can Sonible Balancer improve your music production software collection?
The plugin uses A.I. technology to analyze the incoming audio signal and automatically correct its frequency response. The user can choose between three correction modes (Warm, Neutral, Bright) while fine-tuning the correction depth via the Intensity slider.
Obviously, a plugin like Balancer can’t substitute a mixing engineer with a set of trained ears and years of experience. On the other hand, it might help us regular folk speed up the mixing process for quick projects every now and then.

onAt some point i tested a handful of “make it better with ai” type plugins against each other and recall that Sonible Balancer gave the best overall impression for consistently useful results.

onHad some good results with Sonible Balancer, too. However, there was another excellent “AI” EQ that I tested very recently, it worked quite well, and I can’t remember the name, nor the developer. It’s killing me! :) I’ll update the comment if I remember which plugin it was.
