Baby Audio and Andrew Huang have announced Transit 2, which is available with a massive 40% discount (limited-time offer).
Transit 2 is the ultimate all-in-one transition designer, multi-fx plugin, and motion designer. If you act fast, you can grab a 40% discount.

During the intro sale, you can buy Transit 2 for $79 (usually $129). Owners of Transit V1 can upgrade for $29.
We checked out the original Transit over a year ago, and I loved it.
I’m a fairly vocal Baby Audio fan, so it was no surprise that I enjoyed the plugin, but I was surprised by how often I relied on Transit over the last year and how much time it saved me.
The flagship feature of the original plugin is the large Transition Control macro knob that controls many FX parameters simultaneously.
It effortlessly creates the kind of epic transitions that would typically be more time-consuming and require more than one plugin.
It didn’t take long for users to realize that Transit is capable of more than epic transitions. Andrew Huang’s “8 Alternative Uses For Transit” video showcases the plugin’s versatility.

With Transit 2, Baby Audio and Andrew Huang lean into the more creative uses for the plugin.
Now, as well as the ultimate transition designer, you have the perfect way to add dynamic motion to your mix.
Transit 2 expands on V1 with new FX modules, motion modes, and an improved workflow.
The new release follows the same basic formula as before, with some tweaks taken straight from Andrew Huang’s creative process (Andrew is one of the most prolific musicians I’ve ever seen).
You still get the same large macro control with seven slots for FX modules, but now we have 28 FX modules, ten more than V1.
New modules include Loop, Reverser, Warp (this one is great), Analog Chorus, and more.
Adding to the Macro and Sequencer modes from V1, there are four new motion modes: Follower, LFO, Gate, and Sidechain.
Follower mode adds dynamic motion by detecting the input signal’s volume and adjusting the macro control with the changing volume levels.
Gate mode is triggered when you hold one of eight available beat/bar division buttons. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to play with glitchy micro-transitions in live performance.
LFO mode allows you to sweep linked parameters with Sine, Triangle, Saw, and Square waveshapes. You can set the LFO freely in Hz or sync it to the host tempo.
Like Follower mode, Sidechain mode responds to the incoming audio but not the audio it’s impacting; it responds only to the sidechain input.
With Andrew Huang’s help, Baby Audio has taken what was already a versatile plugin and turned it into something with no end of creative potential.
It’s getting harder to pick a favorite Baby Audio plugin! Today, my top picks are Transit 2 and BA-1, but I’m sure that will change again.
Transit 2 is available in 64-bit AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS (10.11 and higher) and Windows (10 and higher).
An iOS version is on the way.
