Excite Audio Vision 4X Lite Spectral Analyzer is FREE on Plugin Boutique

Plugin Boutique is currently offering Excite Audio’s Vision 4X Lite spectral analyzer plugin (normally $59) for free for a limited time.

Vision 4X Lite is a 64-bit-only release for macOS (VST, VST3, AU, AAX, standalone) and Windows (VST, VST3, AAX, standalone).

To get the freebie, add Vision 4X Lite to your Plugin Boutique cart, fill out the required info on the first and second pages, and then enter the coupon code Mastering4X on the third page.

At that point, the price will reduce to zero, and you can get your freebie. I just tested it, and the code works!

I don’t have any intel on exactly when the code will expire, so it’s probably a good idea to get in quick if you’re interested. 

Vision 4X Lite is the little brother of the full Vision 4X plugin, which has a list price of $89. Both plugins are also currently on sale on Plugin Boutique, at 50% and 44% off, respectively. 

You can actually buy an upgrade from Vision 4X Lite to Vision 4X for $20 (usually $30) on Plugin Boutique. 

I’m not sure if you can upgrade if you got Vision 4X Lite as a freebie, but if you can, that upgrade would be a cost-effective way to score the $89 full version of the plugin. 

Excite Audio developed the Vision 4X plugins in partnership with Dutch electronic music trio Noisia. 

Noisia started the project to combine the best features of the different analyzers they were using into a single workflow. 

Vision 4X is designed to give you the insight needed to prep your tracks to the highest level of quality and make informed mixing decisions. 

There’s a handy graphic on Excite Audio’s Vision 4X product page that breaks down the exact difference between the full and Lite versions of the plugin. 

The full version has four real-time, high-def visual analyzers, while the Lite version has one.

The Lite version shares several core features with the full version, such as a customizable layout, 10 Colour Maps, Map Curve, and Tone Bias.

You also get two display modes, MIDI retriggering, five modes, presets, info bar with pitch, note, dB and timing info, and a spectrogram with enhanced low-end resolution. 

The full version has eight additional exclusive features, such as 17 genre-specific reference curves, waveform pitch color mapping, a phase correlation meter, and a bar graph analyzer with spectral highlighting.
