Ovasenpai just released the Catharsis: Dubstep, Tearout & Riddim Bundle on Glitchedtones, which features seven packs at an introductory price of $10.11.
The current Catharsis: Dubstep, Tearout & Riddim Bundle deal is down from the list price of $133.51, representing a 92% off discount. The promotion will wrap up on February 5, 2025.
The sample collection features 3,032 files of hard-hitting sounds, which include drums, loops, bass hits, FX, melodies, and Serum presets.
I have to say Catharsis is quite a spicy collection, with big, bold sounds that are made for aggressive, attention-grabbing productions.
If you want to hear what the sounds like, click on the SoundCloud player embedded on the product page, which features demos of all seven packs from the collection. Or, even better, listen to it here:
The pack names will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. The bundle features the Death Collection, Warrior Collection, Ultimate Deathstep, Ultimate Tearout, Imperial Collection, Immortal Collection, and Ultimate Dubstep.
Let’s dig a little more into exactly what’s on offer with Catharsis.
The bundle includes 794 bass hits and 309 bass loops, which, like the rest of the pack, are customized for dubstep, riddim, and tearout.
There are also 1,371 drum hits, which include phat kicks, snares, and percussion elements to keep the groove popping.
Ovasenpai has included 337 effects samples covering risers, impacts, sweeps, and textures.
There are also 65 melody loops, 20 melody one-shots, and 20 MIDI files, ranging from cinematic to anthemic sounds.
The bundle is rounded out by 170 custom presets for the Serum wavetable synth, which centres around bass sounds.
The bundle is designed to cover all the essential elements for creating dubstep, tearout, and riddim cuts, and the samples come pre-processed, so they’re ready to slot into productions with a minimum of fuss.
Ovasenpai is a sound designer, audio engineer, and producer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ovasenpai shares his sound design work, original music, and remixes via YouTube and SoundCloud.
The bundle represents a significant portion of his work over the past few years, with the Death Collection and Imperial Collection being the most recent releases, having dropped in August and May 2024, respectively.
