So, what is Ripple? It’s a one-knob LFO tool meant to create pulsating and dynamic volume effects in your project.
Why would you want that? Perhaps you have some static sounds that need anything from subtle to extreme movement by infusing them with rhythm and shape.

Want to make sidechain ducking-style effects more transparent and effective? This might be your ticket, especially if you’re tired of hand-drawn volume automation and clunky sidechain routing. Sometimes you just want a fast and easy solution.
For example, you can create movement with the huge knob in the middle of the UI and control the shape and your gain staging with the sliders at the bottom of the plugin.
Ripple also boasts the Rate parameter to control the modulation speed. This can be tempo-synced to your project BPM, which is convenient unless you want to do crazy out-of-sync modulation.
If your synth only has boring pads, try slapping Ripple on them. Need to pave the way for drum transients or bass notes? Duck the other stuff! Need some subtle vibe that you can’t quite put your finger on? Apply a smooth LFO to your sounds.
There’s not much more to it, really. And that’s the point. Sometimes, easy does it, after all.
