UVI describes Shade as an advanced EQ, mix tool, and creative effect.

The plugin offers 35 filter shapes and 10 modulators (including MSEG, follower, side-chain, and cross-modulation).
Shade supports multichannel filters and modulations, which are designed to be easy to use.
UVI also included drag-and-drop modulation, which can be applied to any parameter in the configurable, semi-modular system.
The bottom line is that Shade offers all the EQ and filtering features you’d expect, while also opening up experimentation with creative effects options.

Hearing Shade go to work on drums, synths, bass, and guitar is a great way to get a picture of exactly what the plugin is capable of, because it’s a lot to wrap your head around on paper.
I could definitely see how the effect options that Shade offers could be used creatively to bring some fresh sonic textures and excitement to performances in several ways.
It’s the kind of thing you could use to elevate musical parts and really put a distinctive and ear-catching production spin on them.
